Finding a place you feel like you belong is difficult. Sometimes no matter how much you search for it, you might not find it. So I decided to make a place where I belong.

Cafe LA is an amalgamation of my hobbies and wanting to share those hobbies with everyone. Whether it is DIY-ing the cafe, learning more about specialty coffee, playing board games, sipping on some craft beers, or just meeting new friends, I believe that Cafe LA definitely has that little something to make you feel at home.

My ultimate goal is to create an inclusive, safe, supportive community hub that won’t make you feel out-of-place, especially during these troubling times and as an expat in Japan. And it’s even better if the drinks and food are delicious.
